Luminescent skin

Ok, so you have tried all the possible products within your range to get that porcelain skin you see of the models while flipping through the magazines. Their flawless skin allures you to try the advertised products to look all the more dapper. Quite natural! You have tried the three stage cleaning process- cleaning, toning and moisturizing stages as well. Yet the shine is missing. Ever wondered what is stopping your skin from enjoying that glow.

In human body skin is the secondary organ for detoxification and eliminating the harmful toxins from our bodies. It releases harmful unwanted odors. So at times let your skin breathe naturally.

Blackheads and Whiteheads: These are symptoms of an unhealthy skin. Keep your skin clean especially if have an oily skin or acne prone skin. The open pores usually attracts lot of oil and dirt which settles down on our skin. Use oil free creams and lotions and a good quality face wash ideally suited for your skin. Scrubbing or exfoliating once a week is also beneficial for dead skin removal. But be careful not to be harsh with your skin.

Foods : We all love chocolates but our skin always do not love. Sudden outburst of pimples can also be a result of the unwanted food items. Foods laded with sugar, artificial colors, MSG more than often do harm to our skin. Try to include lots of vegetables, fruits, fish or omega-3 supplements in your diet. They do wonders for the skin. An unhealthy skin is also the result of poor diet. Most of us cannot avoid munching between the meals. Hence you should try to avoid those enticing chips or deep fried fries. Instead opt for some baked products which are healthy as well add some taste.

Never forget water. Drinking juice is fine but it can never equal the benefit of water. On an average a person should drink 8-10 glasses of water daily to boost the metabolism.

Pamper your skin with good facials and masks. They not only rejuvenate your skin but makes it healthy as well.

Our face is our identity and the index of our minds. Hence always try to be cheerful whatever be the state of mind. The glow is just round the corner.

Oily skin under control

Just like the weather our skin too reacts differently at various weathers. Hence our skin care should be in accordance with the weather. In summers our skin tends to be oily especially the T-zone (forehead and nose) whereas in winters it requires more hydration. Many people especially teenagers or people who undergo some hormonal changes in their bodies often experience a shine on their skin which more than often they do not enjoy. Most of the people inherit oily skin from their parents. But oily skin is a great boon for keeping wrinkles at bay. Generally people with oily skin find it difficult to maintain especially when they want to wear makeup. So lets see how can we control the excessive shine on the face.

1. Keep your skin squeaky clean. Our skin finds it difficult to breathe when the pores are clogged due to the oil secretion which can lead to unwanted blackheads or whiteheads. Use a mild face cleanser to wash your face.

2. In summers apply astringents. Astringents are not only effective for oily skin but a wonderful way to keep the open pores of the skin clean. Always keep a bottle of astringents handy and wipe your face by pouring it on a piece of cotton.

3. Remember too much of cleaning and wiping the face can lead to dehydration. It is necessary to keep the skin hydrated as well. So try to apply some oil free lotion or cream which isn't heavy for your skin.

4. Exfoliate your skin. But be cautious if you have acne. Exfoliation is an excellent way to clear off the dead cells, the blackheads or whiteheads thus giving skin a fresh appeal. Choose exfoliating cream wisely especially if you are allergic to any ingredient.

5. The market is flooded with beauty masks and you can choose form fullers earth to clay masks to orange peel powder especially which are ideal for oily skin. Apply them on your face and neck and wash with cold water.

6. Irrespective of weather drink lots of water and have seasonal fruits to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

7. Try to minimize your make up unless its essential. Heavy make up regularly tends to rob off the skin of  its essential oils.

Having said so it can be safely concluded that following these simple steps will surely help you and your skin experience a fabulous weather!!!!!

Love thy Skin

We all love to have flawless good skin but in reality not many of us are blessed with so. But we all can take adequate measures to maintain a healthy skin which glows with regular beauty care regime. Our skin differs and reacts depending on climate, geographical locations, state of mind and most importantly on food we consume. A healthy glowing skin is a testament of balanced life style accompanied with a healthy diet.

We all are conscious of the latest products that are available in the market but not many of us are aware as to what are the products that will suit our skin type. Knowing our skin type is very important and we must ensure that before switching to any creams or perhaps thoroughly analyze before applying it on our face. It is a common myth that high end branded cosmetics never harm skin but in actual they may not suit our skin owing to our skin type. No two people’s skin are same. Hence one should be cautious while picking up a bottle of cream from the glittering shelves.

The fundamental beauty care strategy is cleaning, toning and moisturizing. These golden steps not only help in keeping our skin hydrated but also enhances our chances to keep our skin religiously clean. The market is flooded with products and it requires you to judiciously buy considering on what will suit you. Always be gentle with skin with regard to the products you use. Never wear make up to sleep. Avoid heavy or greasy layers of make up unless required to use. The excessive layers are not only detrimental but also robs skin off its essential oils. Get adequate sleep. Try to keep stress and tensions away from life although they at times seem to be inseparable. Food forms an important part of skin care. A balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, dairy products helps our skin bloom. Go easy with fried and fatty foods. We must drink requisite amount of water to avoid any sort of dehydration. Even our skin suffer from dehydration, hence water is very important to keep our skin soft & supple.

Lastly, always love your skin however it may be. Treat your skin lovingly, be patient with it in case of problems and very soon you will be surprised that your skin too will start loving you.
